Canadian Radio has got to be some of the best around. We get to listen to the American favourites like Lady GaGa and Beyonce, but throw in our own stellar hit-makers like Stereos, Karl Wolf, and New Cities and our radio is elevated beyond our southern neighbours’. The Canadian Radio Music Awards highlights the best in Canadian music while giving the audience the opportunity to experience performances by some of the greats. I’m going to focus on the performance stage this year, and give you a taste of The Midway State, Stereos, and New Cities, who each put on incredible performances of their biggest hits, Never Again, Summer Girl, and Dead End Countdown, respectively.
I was lucky enough to grab an interview with Nathan from The Midway State and Pat and Robb of Stereos, and you can look out for those in the near future on your favourite purple vegetable!
