With no E3 on the horizon, publishers and developers have gone to online presentations in order to show off their upcoming wares. Yesterday, Microsoft held its 2024 Showcase. Today, Ubisoft took its spot in the limelight, and held its 2024 Ubisoft Forward.
If you missed today’s event, don’t fret. We’ve got a recap for you.

After sharing a first look at gameplay from the next, Japan-based, Assassin’s Creed game, Ubisoft tool things a step further today. They did so by sharing an extended look at gameplay featuring the title’s dual protagonists.
They also uploaded two other videos, one of which is about the different editions of Assassin’s Creed: Shadows. The other is all about combat and stealth.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora:
The game based on James Cameron’s ever popular Avatar universe had its first story expansion revealed, though we knew at least two were in the works.
Entitled The Sky Breaker, this first expansion begins after the events of the main campaign. Its trailer begins with the Na’vi celebrating heir victory over the RDA, by hosting a festival called the Great Games. However, it’s quickly interrupted by another human attack.
It’s to be released on July 16th.
Star Wars: Outlaws:
Today, we received a lot of Star Wars: Outlaws content, including a game overview trailer, a gameplay showcase and a deep dive.
Through this, we’ve been able to see the game’s hub of villainy, which is full of scoundrels, as well as space combat and an infiltration mission. That, and more, like the reputation system that is affected by how you play the game.

We now know that this one is scheduled for release in 2026.
The Rogue Prince of Persia, which just recently released, is getting a new (Temple of Fire) update.
“The Temple of Fire” brings a vibrant yet treacherous new biome in which players will have to mobilize all their skills to overcome new enemies, traps, and traversal challenges. Evil Empire spiced up the experience with two new mobs, the Shielded Warrior and Duellist, as well as one new weapon, the Flaming Censers. This update also introduces the Meta Progression Skill Tree, which allows players to use Spirit Glimmers to unlock persistent improvements.
“The Temple of Fire” is the first major content addition among multiple updates leading up to the 1.0 launch of the game, based on community feedback collected throughout the Early Access phase
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is set to receive story DLC, which was teased today. All we know is that it’ll be called Mask of Darkness, and will release in September.
