A nice surprise came our way today, with that being the news that Little Nightmares III is in development. However, something is different this time around. Instead of being developed by Tarsier, who said they were done with the franchise after releasing Little Nightmares II, this one is being handled by Supermassive Games.
This time around, co-op will be an option from the start, allowing two friends to tackle the game’s devilish nightmares. However, those who wish to play solo can still do so, with the help of an AI companion.
In a PlayStation Blog post, Maya Ziani (Community Specialist for Bandai Namco Europe) shared details about the game. This included the first stage, which is set in the Necropolis – a desert wasteland with dangerous winds, which just so happens to be patrolled by a massive nightmare baby.
Little Nightmares III will scare us in 2024, and will do so on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC.
