Get a new look at the supernatural action of Ghostwire: Tokyo

After many of Tokyo’s residents vanish, one special citizen must stand up to an occult leader named Hanya, and deal with the spirits who have begun to run amok. Such is the basic premise at the heart of Ghostwire: Tokyo, which is in the works at Shinji Mikami’s Tango Gameworks.

During the PlayStation Showcase, Bethesda dropped a brand new trailer for Ghostwire: Tokyo, which gives us a better idea of what to expect from this mysterious game. This includes a main character who can use Ethereal Weaving to manipulate wind, water and fire.

This new IP is being built with the PlayStation 5 in mind, meaning that it promises incredibly detailed environments, ray tracing and features that use the DualSense controller’s speaker to communicate with the player. Through it, you’ll be able to hear the voices of the departed.

Ghostwire: Tokyo is scheduled to release next year.
