We now know who will grace the cover of Sony’s MLB: The Show 21, as well as when, exactly, this year’s iteration will release.
Through press release means, Sony has revealed that San Diego Padres shortstop, Fernando Tatis Jr. will be this year’s cover athlete.
The publisher also stated that both Xbox and PlayStation users will be able to purchase and play MLB: The Show 21 on April 20th. Yes, you read that right: For the first time ever, Sony’s beloved baseball series will be multi-platform. It will also apparently offer cross-play across Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series S|X and PlayStation 5.
