In a video that has been uploaded, then taken down, edited, and re-uploaded, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was given an October 20th release date.
The game, for which the current trailer simply says “Coming Soon” has been rumoured for a late-2020 release since its original announcement at E3 2019.
The Skywalker Saga will, unsurprisingly, take gamers through all nine films from Episode I through Episode IX, and players can tackle the story in any order, according to the demo we got at E3. At that time, they hadn’t even begun work on the ninth episode of the film, as the developers weren’t allowed to know the plot of the new film ahead of its release in December.
When LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga finally launches, likely October 20th, as the trailer said, hop back over here for our impressions and a full review of the title.
The game is set to launch for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, with no mention of availability on the next-gen Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5, both due out later this year.
