So, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 3 seems to be a thing…

It’s hard to believe, but E3 2018 is less than four months away. Yes, you read that right.

As per usual, EA has confirmed its presence for this year’s conference well in advance, and will be bringing EA Play back for another round. Of course, this surely means another press conference where the publisher will show off its upcoming wares and surprise us with some unexpected announcements. Well, that’s the hope at least.

It’s very possible that one of the aforementioned surprises was let out of the bag a bit early, when an intrepid reddit user discovered mention of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 3 in an Amazon listing for a graphic novel based on the series. Apparently this specific volume of the book series will branch the gap between what happened in Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 and what will happen in the upcoming third game.

“Paul Tobin returns to write the official comic book bridge between video games PvZ: GW2 and PvZ: GW3 with Tim Lattie returning to deliver artwork!,” the listing reads.

“Just when you thought Neighborville was safe, the Garden Warfare is back on! Zombies have taken over and forced neighborhood defenders Nate, Patrice, and their fearless plants back on their heels! Not all hope is lost however when an unlikely plant hero comes to the rescue with the fate of Neighborville at stake!”
