This winter, the world’s best amateur athletes will invade South Korea with the goal of bringing colourful medals home to their friends and families. Ubisoft has partnered with these Olympics to celebrate the event, by creating Steep: Road to the Olympics, a large scale expansion that will launch on December 5th.
When it launched last year, Steep included freestyle skiing, snowboarding and wingsuit action. Now, through this add-on the extreme sports game will receive a bevy of new events, including downhill, slopestyle, big air, giant slalom, halfpipe and Super G. These competitions will take place across South Korea and Japan, where the snowy mountains will come alive with score-based carving.
Pricing details have yet to be announced, and the same is true of Road to the Olympics‘ file size. Worry not, though, Steep fans! We’ll let you know more when we can.
