Fullbright, the developer of critically-acclaimed Gone Home, showed up to Microsoft’s Xbox E3 Briefing with their latest game, Tacoma in hand. The game was first announced at The Game Awards in 2014 but has been notably absent from the gaming scene for quite a while.
Drawing parallels to 2001: A Space Odyssey, Tacoma is a circular space station with a malfunctioning AI, though the game centers more around human relationships than what could otherwise be a survival horror game.
Few other details were given about Tacoma, other than a short trailer in which the main character discovers that the people aboard the space station have seemingly vanished, and it is now up to her to solve the mystery behind their disappearances.
Tacoma comes to Xbox One and Windows PC on August 2nd.
