New Zelda footage shows even more characters, enemies, gameplay

Reggie Fils-Aime took to the stage at the Game Awards to show off, for a second time in the evening, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The game breaks conventions for the franchise, and the second trailer of the evening showed off Eiji Aonuma as he introduced new gameplay of Breath of the Wild, played by Bill Trinen.

We meet Kass, a minstrel who teaches Link about this new region. We also see Link, for the first time, dawning a new steel shield, as well as fighting a hoard of Bokoblins and new, crazier Lizalfos than we’ve ever seen.

The duo of players also goes into a massive dungeon, the first we’ve seen for the evening, though the gameplay ends there, teasing players even more than they have been so far.
