Bethesda has announced that its latest entry in its long-running sci-fi-horror-survival franchise, DOOM, will launch on Friday, May 13th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC.
The company also announced its “Premium Collector’s Edition” alongside bonuses for those who pre-order the title.
The aforementioned upgrade includes a 12-inch statue of the Revenant Demon modelled from in-game renderings of the creature. Mounted on an LED-lit up base with “internal, slow-spinning turbine from the UAC facility on Mars,” the collector’s edition also includes a copy of the game in what Bethesda is calling a “battle worth metal case.”
It appears this special edition of DOOM is only available for the PC version of the game.
The pre-order bonuses for any version of the game includes the Demon Multiplayer Pack which contains “a unique demon amor set with three skin variations, six metallic paint colors,”and there Id logos that players can apply to weapons and armor. Other bonuses include six “Hack Modules”, which are one-time consumables that give players an extra boost in multiplayer matches.
All versions of the game are available for pre-order now, including the $120 US Premium Collector’s Edition, a reasonable price considering what is included.
DOOM hits Xbox One, PS4, and PC appropriately, on Friday the 13th of May.
