It looks like it wasn’t a one time thing after all.
Bethesda Softworks’ Twitter page able up at the news that the company would be returning to E3 2016 with another press conference, likely to show off games like Dishonoured 2, Doom, and a new project. There will also likely be a Fallout 4 Game of the Year edition and some downloadable content for the 2015 game.
Pete Hines, Vice President of PR and Marketing at Bethesda, said last year that the company wasn’t sure if they’d make the conference a yearly endeavour, but perhaps there is enough content to warrant a return to 2015’s festivities.

So far, we only have a date, time, and location–Sunday, June 12 at 7:00PM PST in Los Angeles–though we wouldn’t be surprised if Bethesda returned to the massive Dolby Theatre in Hollywood to unveil whatever they’re planning.
The big unknown is whether or not we’ll see the next entry in the Elder Scrolls franchise at this event. Last year, game director Todd Howard took the stage to announce Fallout 4, and while the game has already shipped, it is unlikely he’s been able to command two teams on two very different projects over the past few years. We’re just not sure Elder Scrolls VI would be ready by now.
There’s also something to be said for the way Bethesda announced Fallout 4 last year. The game was announced and released within a tight five-month timeframe. People are going to be expecting that this year, too. Which means the team at Bethesda needs to deliver a groundbreaking announcement on June 12th and follow it up with a release date in 2016.
Can they do it?
We’ll see you at the press conference.
