Couldn’t get enough of both Persona 3 and 4? Atlus has released more details on their much-anticipated mash-up, Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, at this year’s E3.
The series made waves back when Persona 3 was released on the PS2 and got a nice revamp later on with Persona 4. To see these intricately designed and trendy JRPGs be juxtaposed into one unstoppable force is nothing short of amazing. However, unlike Persona 3 and 4, it looks like Persona Q will be taking on a first-person dungeon crawler perspective, the original format for the series. Not my idea kind of gameplay, but mix that with the adorable chibi character designs and already endearing cast of characters, and you’ve got yourself something fun and different to grind in and enjoy.
Atlus has also revealed the pre-order bonus items and a limited edition for those who are interested in getting more P3 and P4 content for their buck. The normal retail edition is priced at $49.99 (tarot card set and special packaging), and a “Wild Cards Premium Edition” is priced at $79.99 (tarot card set, art book, OST and 3DS XL case). Pre-orders for both editions are available now.
Atlus is urging fans to pre-order by mid-July, because these versions of Persona Q will only be available in limited quantities. The limited edition will only have a set number of units, and once they’re gone, they’re gone for good!
Persona Q will be released this fall on the 3DS, stay tuned for more news as the time comes!
