Gaming’s wise-cracking and tail-whipping gecko, Gex, is returning to consoles through the updated Gex Trilogy.
Earlier today, Limited Run Games announced a release date for the Gex Trilogy, along with a new trailer and more.
The Gex Trilogy is rebuilt using Limited Run Games’ Carbon Engine.
Gex Trilogy adds rewind and save state options, allowing players to quickly correct any platforming missteps across all three games, while both Gex: Enter the Gecko and Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko have new widescreen support. Players looking to relive the best of Gex will also be treated to a Music Player featuring tracks from all three games, a Media Viewer with promotional material and artwork, and even a brand new behind the scenes interview with HBO comedian Dana Gould, the voice of Gex in the USA.
