Baseball fans can look forward to another interactive experience from San Diego Studio, with this year’s iteration being named MLB: The Show 25. Officially revealed today, it has three different cover athletes and there are rumours that it won’t be on Game Pass this time around. We haven’t been able to confirm that, though.
MLB: The Show 25 will step up to the digital plate on March 18th, 2025, although Deluxe Edition early access will open on the 14th. It’ll once again be available on Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. You’ll be able to preorder it starting on February 4th, and the first gameplay trailer will also be released that day.
When The Show 25 launches, it will have three new Major League Baseball players on its cover, with those being:
- Paul Skenes: National League Rookie of the Year with the Pittsburgh Pirates and first player in MLB history to start the All-Star Game just one year after being drafted.
- Elly De La Cruz: Cincinnati Reds’ dynamic switch-hitter and cycle achiever, known for speed and power.
- Gunnar Henderson: 2023 American League Rookie of the Year and cornerstone for the Baltimore Orioles.
