During today’s Xbox Developer Direct presentation, Kepler Interactive revealed when players will be able to get their hands on Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. As such, we can now tell you that you’ll be able to embark on a perilous quest across vast lands and uncharted seas on April 24th, 2025.
This anticipated RPG isn’t an Xbox exclusive, but will be a day one Game Pass release. It’s also coming out on PlayStation 5 and Steam. Those with interest can preorder it now.
Alongside the standard edition, folks can also preorder a physical Collector’s Edition, which includes:
- The base game
- A 20.3cm hand-painted Monolith music box
- A collectible Steelbook® case featuring Gustave, Maelle, and the Paintress
- The Expeditioner’s Journal 48-page hardcover artbook
- The “Flowers” Collection (six outfits and hairstyles inspired by the flowers of Lumière (DLC), plus six Gommage outfit variations (DLC))
- A “Clair” custom outfit for Maelle (DLC)
- An “Obscur” custom outfit for Gustave (DLC)*.
Meanwhile, the Digital Deluxe Edition features:
- The base game
- The “Flowers” Collection (six outfits and hairstyles inspired by the flowers of Lumière (DLC), plus six Gommage outfit variations (DLC))
- A “Clair” custom outfit for Maelle (DLC)
- An “Obscur” custom outfit for Gustave (DLC)*.
The team behind the game filmed a video that was played during today’s presentation, during which they revealed new characters, new story details and new environments. They also shared how players can run, soar and swim through the vast game world.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will be released on April 24th.
