Earlier today, Microsoft shared a look at what some of its partners are bringing to Xbox for the remainder of 2024, and into 2025. They called it the Xbox Partner Preview, and here’s a recap of it in case you missed it:
- Alan Wake 2 will receive its second story DLC, The Lake House, on October 22nd
- Cronos: The New Dawn is a new horror game from the developers of The Medium, The Blair Witch Project, Layers of Fear and Silent Hill 2. Bloober Team’s next project seems to be an Xbox and PC exclusive, and will release next year. When it does, it’ll mix strategy, gunplay and monsters.
- Blindfire launched into early access today. It’s a fast-paced multiplayer shooter that takes place in the dark. It’s for Xbox and PC.
- Captain ships in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. A swashbuckling RPG with recruiting, ship customizing and gambling mechanics, it’s coming in 2025. Friday, February 28th to be exact.
- A whimsical mystery with weapons, Mouse: P.I. For Hire is presented in black and white. Like Yakuza, it’s coming to Xbox Series and PC next year.
- Subnautica 2 received a new trailer, and was confirmed for Xbox and PC early access in 2025.
- Indie darling, Animal Well, dropped onto Xbox Series X/S today.
- A game based on Hiro Mashima’s manga, Edens Zero, was announced. It features a mixture of space and anime. This one is also coming to both PC and current gen Xboxes in 2025.
- Wield fire and magic in fantasy RPG, Eternal Strands, sometime in 2025.
- Mistfall Hunter is another fantasy game. It features a dark, Viking like setting and battles against mysterious creatures. You’ll be able to use swords, bows and magic when it comes to both platforms in 2025.
- Wheel World is a quirky, Cel-shaded biking game. This offbeat experience is also expected next year.
- Fan favourite horror game, Phasmophobia, is coming to Xbox (in early access). It will do so two days before Halloween.
- Ride a fluffy dog on a magical island in The Legend of Baboo. PC and Xbox for this one, and 2025 as well.
- Releasing in 2025 as well, is Soulslike, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. It received a new trailer today, and showed off its heroine in action.
- FBC: Firebreak is poised to be the first multiplayer game from Remedy Entertainment. It’s set in the Alan Wake/Control universe.
