If you’ve yet to purchase or play Dead Island 2, and plan to, you’ll possibly want to wait until next month.
Revealed today, the Dead Island 2: Ultimate Edition is targeting an October release.
The Ultimate Edition contains the complete Dead Island 2 base game, both blood-soaked story expansions – Haus and SoLA – and a plethora of stylish cosmetics and deadly weapons, including the brand-new Kingdom Come: Deliverance II weapon pack and:
- Memories of Banoi Pack
- Golden Weapons Pack
- Pulp Weapons Pack
- Red’s Demise Pack
- All six Slayer’s Premium Skin Pack
At the same time, Patch 6 will introduce a new Neighborhood Watch game mode. A cooperative horde mode, it will task players with working together to survive waves of zombies.
As members of the Bobcats, a fresh trio of College survivors, players must defend their frat house in the Venice Canals from flesh-hungry waves of zombies, using new skills, weapons, and traps (a first in the series).
The Dead Island 2: Ultimate Edition will be released on October 22nd.
