Firewalk Studios has announced that it is taking Concord offline, and will issue refunds

Following dismal sales, mediocre reviews and a general lack of interest, Firewalk Studios has decided to take its new hero shooter, Concord, offline. This will result in PlayStation, Steam, Epic and other retailers issuing refunds to those who purchased it.

A new IP, Concord aimed to take advantage of the popularity of other hero shooters like Overwatch, but failed to do so. It launched on August 23rd, at $40, and had its own exclusive DualSense controller, but it seems that the price point was just too high. Who knows, though? Maybe it’ll return as a free-to-play experience.

Refund Details:

  • PlayStation Store/PlayStation Direct: Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 30-60 days. If the original payment source is unavailable, the amount will be credited to the PSN wallet.
  • Steam Store: Refunds will be issued in the coming days, with confirmations sent once processed.
  • Epic Games Store: Refunds will also be issued in the coming days, with direct confirmations sent to customers.
  • Physical Copies: Customers should follow the refund process of the respective retailer

Concord will be taken offline on September 6th. After that point, it will not be playable.
