Pikmin 4 is set to release on July 21, meaning it’s merely a month away. As such, a long wait will end for fans who’ve been wanting to get their hands on this game for some time.
During today’s Nintendo Direct, the Big N revealed a dog companion who can carry items, smash obstacles and become a flotation device, plus a Dandori Battle minigame. Both will factor into this much anticipated sequel, and will add to the experience. Speaking of being able to experience this one, a demo will be released on the 28th of June.
Nintendo also shared a new trailer for the game, and revealed that HD versions of Pikmin and Pikmin 2 are coming to the Nintendo Switch eShop today. Physical versions won’t release until September 22nd.
