Outward: Definitive Edition features the base game, as well as all of its previously released DLC, with those being its The Three Brothers and The Soroboreans add-ons. Those will be complemented by numerous improvements, balancing adjustments and ‘quality of life updates.’ Things like:
- New unique encounters in dungeons
- New defeat scenarios
- New diseases
- Access to stash in co-op
- Improved enchantment & crafting
- Visual optimization
- More totem workshops
- Previously DLC-exclusive corruption hazards spread throughout the whole game
- Much more
Returning fans, who own a copy of both the base game and its The Three Brothers DLC, can redeem a free copy of Outward: Definitive Edition. This will be handled automatically on PC, whereas console users will have to visit the Xbox or PlayStation Stores to upgrade.
