If you’re like us then you’re counting down the days until Far Cry 6 becomes available for purchase and play. It being delayed until fall was a big disappointment, but that should mean the game will launch with more polish and content, so we’re not going to complain.
During this week’s gamescom from Home event, Ubisoft released a brand new story trailer for Far Cry 6, and it’s a doozy. Said video begins with an interview between a news correspondent and the game’s villain, President Anton Castillo, who is portrayed by actor Giancarlo Esposito of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul fame. The interview is interspersed with gameplay footage, and it’s that type of content that fills the latter portion of this video. Needless to say, there’s lots of calls to action, tons of gunplay and more than a couple dicey situations.
Far Cry 6 will begin its revolution on October 7th.
