Focus Home Interactive, Asobo Studio and Microsoft teamed up to reveal something new today. We’re talking about A Plague Tale: Requiem, which will be a direct sequel to the indie darling, A Plague Tale: Innocence.
Revealed by trailer, Requiem seems to suggest more of the same type of gameplay that made the original so beloved. Its CG reveal video is chock full of looks at updated character models and beautiful scenery, some of which is destroyed over time by an ocean of plague filled rats.
A Plague Tale: Requiem is targeting a 2022 launch window, and will be released onto Xbox Series and Windows 10. Those with interest should also note that this sequel promises to be a day one Game Pass title as well.
Now, we need to use this as a reminder to go back and play the first one, as while we meant to play it it unintentionally got put on the back burner.
