Another PlayStation 5 exclusive has been given a release date. This time around it’s Insomniac’s Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, which will release just before summertime.
A stand-alone adventure, which promises to please old fans and newcomers alike, Rift Apart will feature new weapons and a very colourful campaign.
The game’s story has villain Dr. Nefarious tinkering with the fabric of space and time, in order to find a dimension where he always wins. The result is an inter-dimensional rift that separates both Ratchet and Clank. At least one of them will run into a new ally: a Lombax resistance fighter.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is aiming for a June 11th release. Preorders are now open on the PlayStation Store, with those who put money down early receiving early access to the Pixelizer weapon and Carbonox Armor.
