Today saw the release of the first official gameplay trailer for THQ Nordic’s Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. A remastered version of a 2012 cult classic, it aims to breath new life into a game that was originally developed by retired Major League Baseball pitcher, Curt Schilling.
This first look is all about finesse, in that it centres upon a build that is all about attacking quietly and from afar. As such, you’ll see both stealth and bow-and-arrow kills, as well as some character customization options.
Sadly, this video is quite short and doesn’t do a great job of promoting what an excellent game Kingdoms of Amalur is. Here’s hoping that more involved gameplay trailers will be released soon.
