Microids’ remake of the cult-classic first-person shooter, XIII, has been given a wintry release date. In the process, the reworked former PS2 game has also received its first gameplay trailer and screenshots.
Through the trailer you will see that the development team attempted to be faithful to the original game, but also did their best to modernize it. They’ve retained the cel-shaded visuals, remastered the audio, and are showing off two different locations here.
Featuring “an intense single player campaign,” as well as multiplayer mode(s), XIII is a game about an amnesiac. Through it, players will help a man regain his identity, all while using both stealth and bullets to take out baddies.
This remake of a cult classic will be released onto PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 10th.
