If you’ve been itching for another look at Tango Gameworks’ GhostWire: Tokyo then you’re in luck. Yesterday’s PS5 event provided us with a new trailer for the surreal game. It’s quirky and weird, and there’s lots to unpack within its 2 minutes of content, so we’ll let it speak for itself.
GhostWire: Tokyo takes place in a version of Japan that has suffered a paranormal event, which has left 99% of its residents dead or changed. Within its narrative, players will control a character who managed to survive this unprecedented disaster, and must use his newfound super powers to deal with what it’s left behind. You know, things like ghastly schoolgirls, faceless spirits carrying umbrellas and things like that.
Needless to say, it’ll be scary and weird.
GhostWire: Tokyo has been confirmed as a PlayStation 5 exclusive, and will be released next year.
