During today’s PlayStation 5 reveal, which took the form of a livestream due to current global issues, it was stated that Insomiac Games is hard at work on a new project. Not just any game, either; a sequel to 2018’s incredible Marvel’s Spider-Man. One they call Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
This much requested sequel stars Miles Morales, who first appeared in the comics back in 2011. He’s another of the Spider-Man variants, and became very popular through his starring role in the animated film, Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse. Of course, those who’ve played the game will also remember him as a supporting character in Insomniac’s first, Peter Parker-based outing.

According to today’s reveal, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is going to be a PlayStation 5 exclusive. Not only that, but it’s destined to release this holiday season. Does that mean that it will be a launch title? Perhaps. Either way, it was a nice surprise and has catapulted its way towards the top of our most wanted list.
