The classic 3D action/adventure game, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom, is being resurrected. We’ve known that for a while now, but just recently learned when we’ll actually be able to play it.
Through a press release and a colourful trailer, THQ Nordic has announced that SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated – a remaster – will release this June. The twenty-third of that month to be exact. They’ve also mentioned that digital pre-orders are now open on Xbox One and PC, for those with interest. The Switch pre-order program won’t start until April 21st.

Two more trailers were also uploaded, with each offering a look at the game’s special edition versions: The $149.99 Shiny Edition, and the $299.99 F.U.N. Edition. (All prices are in American dollars.)
Physical pre-orders are also open, via Amazon, GameStop/EB Games and Best Buy.
