Those who like unique and visual experiences may find interest in Florence, the award-winning mobile game that was just given a release date for Nintendo’s Switch, PC and Mac, via Steam, GOG and the Mac App Store. That’s because, instead of taking a more action-based approach, the game tells its story through original artwork and mini-games, which combine to take the form of an interactive visual novel.
Awarded an Apple Design Award and a BAFTA for Best Mobile Game, Florence tells the story of a young woman’s journey through both the spectacular and bleak moments of her very first love. Players can experience every moment of Florence and Krish’s relationship through a series of inspiring gameplay vignettes, following the couple as they grow together, drift apart and everything in between.
Today, it was announced that Annapurna Interactive and Mountains will be bringing the well received mobile title to those aforementioned devices on February 13th.
