Starting in September, fans of Ubisoft’s games, series and back catalogue will be able to pay a monthly subscription fee in order to access them. This service, which goes by the name Uplay+, was just revealed at E3, though it’d been rumoured for some time.
A PC exclusive, Uplay+ will offer gamers access to more than one hundred games and pieces of additional downloadable content. Plus, as is the case with Xbox Game Pass, the service will allow subscribers to play new releases at launch, without needing to purchase them separately.
Uplay+ is expected to go live on September 3rd, and will set you back a surprisingly expensive $19.99 USD. However, those who register soon and sign up early will be entitled to a free trial from September 3rd until September 30th.
