After being rumoured for some time, a remastered version of 2009’s Ghostbusters: The Video Game has been officially confirmed through YouTube. As such, those who either loved it or missed it the first time around will be able to pick up and play this updated version of the game on current consoles.
Ghostbusters: The Video Game was notable for not only featuring an original storyline set within the classic films’ universe, but also for the fact that Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray and Harold Ramis reprised their roles in it. Hell, both Aykroyd and Ramis helped pen the story, to make sure that it was as true to the movies as possible.
Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered is being updated by Mad Dog Games, and is set to release later this year. It’s been confirmed for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC (via Epic Games Store) and Switch.
