Unless you’ve been away from the Internet for some time, it’s likely that you’ve heard about Square Enix’s plans to re-release classic Final Fantasy titles, and remasters of some others, onto modern devices. Well, we’re not far away from the first wave, and to help promote that fact the publisher has released a brand new trailer called ‘Final Fantasy: Something for Everyone.’
The idea behind this trailer is that the myriad of Final Fantasy games Square Enix will release this year will offer something for everyone’s tastes. There’s going to be a lot of them, too.
While Final Fantasy IX is currently available across modern consoles, PCs and phones, it won’t be March’s only returning franchise classic. In fact, the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One versions of Final Fantasy VII will be released on the 26th of this month.
Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon: EVERY BUDDY! will also launch on March 20th.
The other Final Fantasy titles that Square Enix plans to release during calendar year 2019 include Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remaster (April 16), Final Fantasy XIII: The Zodiac Age (April 30), and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition. That last one owns a blanket 2019 release window.
