If you’ve been wondering how Kingdom Hearts III has been doing commercially, the answer is simple: Very, very well. In fact, Square Enix has proudly announced that the Disney-themed RPG is the fastest selling game in its series.
According to the celebratory press release, Sora’s latest adventure has shipped over 5 million copies across physical and digital mediums, not to mention the two consoles on which it is playable. The company has also highlighted the game’s high review scores, which currently average an 86 on Metacritic. At least, that’s the case with the PS4 version. In comparison, the Xbox One version has a surprising 78 as its aggregated review score.
