Although it may have had its existence, title and cover art leaked beforehand, Ubisoft waited until tonight’s Game Awards to reveal Far Cry: New Dawn.
A new game from Ubisoft Montreal, New Dawn is a follow-up to Far Cry 5 that takes things in a post-apocalyptic and Mad Max-inspired direction. Through this design, players will find themselves in a dangerous and post-apocalyptic (yet still flower, grass and wildlife filled) version of Montana, wherein they’ll have to go up against two evil twin sisters. Their names? Mickey and Lou. Their game? Ruthless scavenging.
This standalone sequel to Far Cry 5 will incorporate new weapons, Mad Max inspired racing and other elements that are ripe for the apocalypse. You can expect to play Far Cry: New Dawn on February 15th, and can pre-order it now for $39.99.
