Thirteen years have passed since Asterix & Obelix first took on Las Vegum, in what seems to have been a Europe-only release. Now, they’re back in remastered fashion, with Microids’ Asterix & Obelix XXL2. At least, they will be in two days.
This remaster, which is marketed towards people of all ages, tasks its charges with helping Asterix & Obelix make their way through a Las Vegas-inspired theme park that Julius Caesar has created. In doing so, they’ll explore different regions and get to choose from three different difficulties, all while taking part in action-filled gameplay.
Expect to be able to play Asterix & Obelix XXL2 on November 29th. It’s coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Switch, and will receive Europe-specific special edition sets.
