One of last generation’s best and most comedic games will soon be available on a brand new platform. That is, Obsidian’s South Park: The Stick of Truth, the ever entertaining licensed RPG that isn’t interested in any form of censorship. The game, which previously released on PS4 and Xbox One as a pre-order bonus, will soon complete the trifecta by releasing on Nintendo’s Switch.
In South Park: The Stick of Truth, you play as the New Kid, who’s come to town at the beginning of a battle between fantastical groups. In an attempt to get the all powerful Stick of Truth, you’ll have to explore the town, speak to its residents, engage in incredibly colourful quests and battle others in turn-based ways. There’s lots of South Park charm, too, as one would expect; so much so that it’s hard to believe that it all fits within one game.
South Park: The Stick of Truth will be a digital only release (for now, at least), and will join its sequel on Nintendo’s console on September 25th. It will cost $39.99.
