Today is truly a wonderful day, as it’s come bearing the news that THQ Nordic has acquired the rights to 38 Studios’ Kingdoms of Amalur.
Yes, you read that right.
Thanks to the above, there’s now hope that there will not only be a sequel to one of last generation’s best titles and RPGs, but a remaster as well. You can rest assured that this particular author would be there day one for both, after having already completed the game (to near 100%) on two different platforms.
This is big news, because after all of the legal issues that Curt Schilling and 38 Studios fell into after developing and releasing Kingdoms of Amalur, it was presumed that we’d never hear another peep from the property. Thus, some of us had been dreaming about something like this happening.
