During its time at gamescom, Ubisoft announced that Trials Rising — the next entry in the ever popular and always challenging physics-based racing series — will be released in February. At the same time, they also confirmed that a closed beta test will occur between September 13th and 16th.
Set in new epic locations around the world and featuring over a hundred tracks, Trials Rising lets riders travel the world and put their skills to the test through various levels of difficulty, beat the competition, grow their fame under the eyes of experienced sponsors and work to become Trials champions. While enjoying the view of the Eiffel Tower or riding along the Great Wall of China, solo or in the hilarious Tandem Bike mode, riders won’t be able to resist the thrill of astonishing exploits and fails on their way.
As they progress through Trials Rising‘s League-based campaign, and complete its new Stadium Finals events (which pit seven players against each other in a series of three heats), Trials enthusiasts will receive notifications. These alerts will be what you’d expect, that being notifications regarding friends having beaten your scores. Thus, the game will be even more social than before.
Trials Rising is set to release on February 12th, and will be made available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
