One of the more interesting titles to grace E3’s many stages was Transference, from actor Elijah Wood and his SpectreVision studio. A game that puts its subjects into a strange reality, wherein something is amiss.
Today, Ubisoft announced that a demo is now available for Transference, though it’s limited to just the PlayStation 4 platform. Thus, those with PS4 and/or PSVR can check the game out a month ahead of its mid-September release date.
“The positive response we’ve seen from press and excitement from fans has been amazing. We’re thrilled to provide players the opportunity to download and experience the free prequel Walter Test Case demo beginning today, which will provide the first hands-on experience with the Transference universe, diving into the experiment that started it all,” shared Transference producer Kévin Racapé. “Working closely with the talented team at SpectreVision has been a tremendous achievement and we’re thrilled to release the game next month for both VR enthusiasts and non-VR players.”
Transference is slated to release on September 18th, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4/PSVR, PC, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. It will retail for $34.99 Canadian.
