Itching to try Call of Duty: Black Ops 4‘s newly crafted Blackout battle royale mode? Well, it’ll be close to another month before you’ll be able to do so if you happen to be an Xbox One or PC gamer.
Today, Treyarch took to Twitter to — in two separate tweets — announce the starting dates for its PC and Xbox One Blackout betas. In fact, the two actually share the same date (September 14th), with the PC reveal listing a 10am Pacific start time. Granted, that first day will be exclusive to folks who have pre-ordered the game, whereas the open beta will actually kick off on the following day: September 15th.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be released this fall, and will be the first mainline series entry to not include a single player campaign.
