Edit – It is a real thing. Here’s the new trailer:
Though it’s been deleted and is now unavailable, Forbes posted something interesting today. That is, news that Blizzard is developing a full priced version of Diablo III for Nintendo Switch.
Dubbed Diablo III: The Eternal Collection, this rumoured set is said to include the core campaign and both of its expansions: Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer. Of course, as is expected, it will also provide those who purchase it with all of the game’s other post-launch improvements and miscellaneous bonus content.
What will excite Nintendo fans most, however, is that there will be exclusive, Nintendo-themed content as well. Things like the Legend of Ganondorf cosmetic armor set, a Triforce portrait theme, Echoes of the Mask cosmetic wings and a chicken pet.
Also, according to the now deleted leak, Switch owners will be able to play the game with nearby friends. Here’s how:
- Up to 4 players can play together on a single Switch.
- Up to 4 players can play on 4 different Switch units wirelessly without an internet connection.
- Players can also team up online with the Nintendo Switch Online service (which launches in September.)
Stay tuned for more information pertaining to this rumoured Diablo III: The Eternal Collection for Switch.
