Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 won’t just have one beta test. No, due to the nature of the new title, it will actually have two: one for each of its multiplayer forms. What that means is that the game’s more traditional online suite will get one, then that will be followed by a battle royale (or Blackout, as it’s called) specific beta.
The first multiplayer beta will begin on August 3rd. Then, the Blackout test will occur in September.
The Multiplayer Beta schedule can be found here:
PlayStation 4 (Starts: August 3 at 10am/PT – Ends: August 6 at 10am/PT)
PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (Starts: August 10 at 10am/PT – Ends: August 13 at 10am/PT)
PC Beta Early Access (Starts: August 10 at 10am/PT) *PC exclusively on Battle.Net
PC Open Beta (Starts: August 11 at 10am/PT – Ends: August 13 at 10am/PT)
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be released onto Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on October 12th.
