It won’t be long before The Crew 2 hits store shelves and digital marketplaces, since the game’s release date happens to be June 29th. Thus, it was a no-brainer for Ubisoft to include the open world racer in its E3 showcase, to both remind us that it’s not far off and to entice those who hadn’t seen anything from it to give it a shot.
A fast-paced and visceral trailer played, and showed off gameplay from each of the game’s vehicle types: boats, planes, bikes and cars. It’s here where The Crew 2 will differ most from its predecessor, which was only car-based.
Afterwards, it was revealed that The Crew 2‘s beta client is now available for pre-load, prior to the test beginning on the 21st. It will run until the 25th, then the game will release on the 29th as mentioned.
