After being crowdfunded in 2017, Session was originally only announced for PC, much to the chagrin of those who’ve been hoping for another good skateboarding game on consoles. That didn’t last terribly long, though, because news of an Xbox One version spread months ago, prior to being officially revealed today.
Announced by trailer, Session had a very small part to play in Microsoft’s festivities. Still, it managed to stand out for being the first entry into a genre that was once popular but had been presumed dead since. Of course, the rap music and neat tricks also didn’t hurt.
Developed by Crea-ture Studios, Session carries a lot of hopes on its trucks and wheels. Here’s hoping it won’t disappoint when it releases onto PC and Xbox One sometime next year.
