E3 is still almost half a month away, yet one of the show’s biggest surprises has likely just been outed by a keychain of all things. That is, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which seems poised to be the next installment in the historically influenced action/adventure series.
Outside of the title, though, little is known. Some say that the game could be a direct follow-up to Bayek’s Egyptian adventure in Assassin’s Creed Origins, while others (with sources close to the project) state that it’s a new game that is set in Greece. Those reports go further by stating that the game lets players choose their protagonist, and that it will advance the franchise by introducing dialogue options. That, as well as the presumption that it will be released sometime during this fiscal year.
Stay tuned for more information on Assassin’s Creed Odyssey now that the cat has been let out of the proverbial bag.
