As you may know, Treyarch has scheduled a full reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 for May 17th. Unsurprisingly, then, the developer is attempting to get fans excited by teasing things on Twitter. Most notably, a Zombies mode.
Today’s tweet features a strange, pockmarked man pulling a mask off of his unusual-looking face. What’s most notable here, though, isn’t his facial expression but the condition that his hand is in. It shows obvious signs of flesh degradation, the type of which we normally associate with the fictional undead. Thus, the associated tagline is ominously fitting, being that it says that “Mankind’s reckoning will be its salvation.”
What really gives things away, though, is the hashtag: #Zombies.
