Burnout Paradise Remastered is heading our way next month

The rumours were correct: Burnout Paradise has received the remaster treatment, and it won’t be long before we’ll be able to get our hands on it. In fact, Electronic Arts has just officially revealed that the updated classic will release on March 16th.

Burnout Paradise Remastered, as it’s titled, will feature the full game and all of its post-release content, with all of it being in 4K resolution. This means you can look forward to replaying the main campaign, then taking a dangerous drive across Big Surf Island.

“When people think of Criterion Games, they often remember the Burnout franchise and for good reason. What we created 10 years ago, we feel is still fun and unique to this day in the gaming industry,” said Criterion GM Matt Webster. “Burnout Paradise is an arcade racer built to provide players the thrill of racing with their friends, in a free form way that was both seamless and immersive, but also a little crazy with all the different stunts and crashes players could pull off. With the release of this remaster, we’re able to share this action-packed ride with a whole new generation of players.”
