Nintendo had a ton of announcements to squeeze into a sub-15 minute presentation, and they managed to deliver news and announcements on 17 games. That’s more than one per minute!
Here are the highlights, in order of appearance:
- The World Ends With You Remix coming to Switch later this year
- Pokken Tournament DX getting paid DLC with new Pokémon and avatar items
- Kirby Star Allies launches with new abilities and bosses on March 16th
- Kirby Battle Royale demo is now available on Nintendo 3DS
- Dragon Quest Builders demo is now available on Switch
- Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition launches on Switch this Spring
- Mario Tennis Aces brings story mode and all new gameplay to Switch this Spring
- Ys VIII: Lacrimose of Dana coming this Summer
- Super Mario Odyssey gets its first update, bringing Luigi and new outfits in February
- SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy launches this Summer
- ACA Neogeo Art of Fighting 2 launches today on Nintendo eShop
- Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle getting paid DLC introducing DK into the mix
- Payday 2 launches this February with a Switch-exclusive character
- Fe from EA coming on February 16th
- Celeste, an action-platforming 16-bit indie game coming to Switch on January 25th
- Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze introduces Funky Kong to Switch on May 4th
- Dark Souls Remastered kills the Switch on May 25th
And yet, still no word on Super Smash Bros. coming to the Switch, let alone an all new version of the game.
