There’s a nice surprise in store for those who’ve purchased Life is Strange: Before the Storm‘s deluxe edition, or plan to do so. It will come in the form of a bonus episode, titled ‘Farewell,’ which may end up being the last time we’ll see both Max and Chloe together.
Little is known about what, exactly, will happen during Farewell’s run time, but Square Enix has let one cat out of the proverbial bag. That occurred today, when the publishing giant revealed that both Ashly Burch and Hannah Telle will return to their roles for the bonus engagement. That, of course, is big news for fans of the series who had been pining for Ms. Burch’s return, though it must be said that her replacement has done a very good job in this prequel.
“The team here were thrilled to hear the news that both Hannah Telle and Ashly Burch were able to come back together again to voice Max and Chloe”, said Jeff Litchford, Vice President, Deck Nine Games. “We were really happy with Rhianna DeVrie’s performance as Chloe in Before the Storm and the fan reaction to her has been great, she’ll continue to work closely with us as part of a really close team we have created.”
For those who aren’t aware, the Farewell bonus episode will allow players to assume the role of a young Max Caulfield. Little else is known about it, though, and the team remains tight-lipped as it focuses on the third of three planned episodes for Life is Strange: Before the Storm‘s main run.
